Quick as well as simple Steps to Get Your Slow Running Computer Working Faster cutting-edge not any Time

Windows 7 Party Signature Edition (5) by Shane's Flying Disc Show

After years and years of disappointing hosts, nominations and ludicrous awards, the Academy finally produced both a worthwhile show and delivered very nearly the closest count of correct awards to those films, actors and directors who created them.

Most notably, let's talk about how Martin Scorsese, the man who has, over so many different decades, consistently produced the best in American cinema, was finally awarded with the golden statue, which has eluded him for so long. Consistently denied, after creating superior film after superior film, the Academy has consistently chosen to honor filmmakers (if you can, in retrospect, call them that) who really just looked cute, accepting the award at the podium. Robert Redford and his uninspired and typical "Ordinary People," over the amazing "Raging Bull." Kevin Costner and his abhorrent "Dances With Wolves," over "Goodfellas." But let us not forget the most egregious error of all, Roman Polanski, a man who cannot even step foot on American soil, lest he be arrested, wins for "The Pianist," over "Gangs of New York." This is a serious atrocity, which, granted, is based on competition of an art form, but still...can there not be honor in greatness? Mr. Scorsese's win, tonight, means that the Academy has finally been woken from their doldrums, shaken from their unforgivable slumber and half-hearted doling out of awards to those who simply have not consistently produced greatness to garner such a prestigious award.

In addition to the long-awaited award for Mr. Scorsese, the Academy also, wisely chose to honor his phenomenal film, "The Departed," with best picture. Not only did this film produce and deliver more than what it alluded to, in both its early mentions and press releases, but also in it's final product. Other best picture noms include, "Babel," which simply begged for the award and really could not be awarded the statue because it came off as a little disappointing in both its presentation and award friendly demeanor, but also, the other, most egregious error in the nomination category (this designation suggesting that while none of the films deserved the award, their nomination were easily justified) was "Little Miss Sunshine." The film took a few awards tonight, but honestly, deserved none. However, "The Departed," more than deserved everything for which it won. Thankfully, instead of honoring horrible films like last year's "Crash" or potential winner, "Little Miss Sunshine," the Academy did the right thing and thought with their minds and not with political guilt.

Honestly, for the most part, the awards were delivered appropriately and to a tee, but let us talk about those awards, which were so erroneously given to the incorrect recipient, that I was left scratching my head. First, in the category of Best Foreign Film, the award was given to Germany's "The Lives of Others," as opposed to Guillermo Del Toro's, often lauded - especially tonight - "Pan's Labyrinth." I simply cannot understand how a film, which, in addition to "Children of Men," should have been nominated for best picture, doesn't win in the category it so clearly and easily dominates. "Pan's Labyrinth" was not only a hit in Spain and other countries, but consistently placed in the box office top 10 - in the United States, no less! Let me stress that this is a foreign film; meaning people who go to see it will have to read. Frankly, no one here has ever heard of "The Lives of Others." The exclusion of "Pan's Labyrinth" from being one of the recipients of the golden statue is more than wrong,.

Secondly and, perhaps, ironically, the award of Best Cinematography went to "Pan's Labyrinth," but more appropriately should have gone to fellow Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron's "Children of Men." For the single most impressive, one take scene in over a decade. Coupled with the gorgeous heavy filters and shifted frame speeds, "Children of Men," more than any other film, this year, deserved the award for its astonishing and powerful cinematography.

Finally, the most erroneous mistake made this evening was the exclusion of Mark Wahlberg, for his career-defining role in "The Departed." Instead, the Academy, wrongly chose to honor Alan Arkin for his minimal and perhaps, ham fisted, portrayal of a heroin smoking grandfather in the most overrated film of the year. Whalberg, with his performance, was able to bridge the gap between his detractors and his fans. He produced, in his character, strength and individuality that was truly above the rest of the characters in the film and with it, a performance that rivaled all of those involved. Arkin, on the other hand, who is a great actor and does have decades of strong and career defining performances behind him, played the role to the best of his abilities, with the tools that he was given. Unfortunately, Arkin - and the rest of his cast - were given the weakest script to honestly make it all the way to this night. He, and frankly, everyone else in that film were given nothing note worthy to do and I honestly cannot recall a single frame of that film that could possibly overtake the exuberance and joy the Wahlberg brought to his role.

Although the detractions to the evening that I just listed were upsetting, it is nice to note that Martin Scorsese, American's greatest director, finally was honored with his first Oscar. Also, it should be mentioned that host Ellen DeGeneres did a phenomenal job, far better than John Stewart and Chris Rock did in previous years and certainly better than the abhorrent Whoopi Goldberg did in all her times hosting. While the runtime was long, running from 5:30 pm to 9:16 pm PST, it was also relaxed and enjoyable.

Finally, after years and years of mistakes, The Academy Awards ends by putting a much-deserved smile on my face and the faces of thousands of Scorsese fans and supporters. I, for one, want to applaud the members of the Academy for finally making the right decision and for erasing so many errors of the past, which could have so easily been allowed to continue after tonight. Thankfully, the anxiety of seeing one of the greatest of all-time finally collect his statue can be removed from the list of nightmares.

repair opinion 0x80042109 Error With Registry Cleaner

Outlook and poor task analysis by Joe 10

Working and communicating with e-mails is the general practice at the work place and the same is eased with regard to the e-mail clients like MS Outlook. Many of the supported features of this application enable the user for arranging their e-mails, managing the contacts and rest all other related jobs.

ECF is a file extension associated with Outlook Add-in and is responsible for providing extra features to the MS Outlook e-mail program. This file can be managed Add-In Manager underneath "Advanced Options" within Outlook. But you may get the following error messages when you click over the icon of Ms Outlook:

“Error in configuration file "C:Program FilesMicrosoft Office 97OfficeAddinsfilename.ecf"”

Or

“The extension configuration file "C:Program FilesMicrosoft Office 97OfficeAddinsfilename.ecf" could not be installed. There is an error in the syntax or format of the file.”

Or

“Unable to load filename.dll. You may be out of memory, out of system resources, or missing a .dll file.”

Making the glimpse over the statement of the error messages, you will discover that these are due regard to some .ecf or .dll file. Any .ecf or .dll file may be missing or damaged in the Outlook. This may also happen that some incorrect information is lying there in the Extend.dat file. So for the correction of the problem, the first thing you need to analyze is what the main problem is for the occurrence of these error messages.

Based on this analysis, you can have the following way outs:

  • Replace the damage extensions
  • Locate the following registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftExchangeClientExtensions

After this you will find that the add-in displayed in the error message will be listed on the right under the heading of DATA. Select that data key and press DELETE to get rid of the registry.

  • Refresh the Extend.dat file

You must have read many times that playing with the registry is never a safe part and if you do a bit mistake during the course then it could lead to problems like PST corruption. Also you may find this symptom after the safe procedure of the above mentioned remedies. This is the case when the damage of dll or ecf file also results into PST corruption.

For having the valuable data back and to repair the corrupted PST file, PST repair software is the help. These PST repair software scan the corrupted PST file and then extract the data from it. The use of the powerful scanning algorithms is the reason behind the working of the software which repair Outlook PST.

The PST repair software is present under different names, out of which few tempt you by their low prices. But if you do not want to take any risk with your data then choose the right one not the cheap one.

Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair software is the software which is operable for Outlook 98, 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007. This PST repair software is applicable for all the Outlook objects like e-mails, notes, appointments, drafts, calendar and many alike.

Though mainly used as an email client, Microsoft Outlook allows you to maintain calendar information and keep task reminders as well. Consequently, you can display reminder information at calendar’s top as an event or in the calendar itself. At times, you find certain issues with these Outlook items. As expected, Outlook task reminders and calendar fail to appear at scheduled time. One of the root causes responsible for this behavior is that your Personal Storage file contains damaged reminder items or the complete reminder folder is corrupted. PST corruption should be resolved by running Inbox Repair Tool or restoring from the backup. If none of the measures work, you should better scan your file by using PST Recovery applications.

For an instance, besides from unexpected and unscheduled behavior of Outlook calendar and task reminders, when you click ‘Save and Close’ button for new appointment that has a reminder, you come across an error message as below:

“The reminder for <subject> may not appear because the item is not in your Calendar or Tasks folder. Is this OK? <yes> <no>”

Cause

Microsoft Outlook processes and triggers reminders from a special-purposed folder known as Reminder Folder that is stored in either personal folder or Inbox of mailbox . The folder is kind of search folder containing links to those messages which meet certain criteria. For reminders to trigger, it is required that Outlook must be running and reminders should reside at the location where you receive all your emails. Outlook exhibits the above discussed behavior in any of the following conditions:

The calendar and task reminders your specified are not in primary folders, as expected by the application. Primary folder is the one that resides at your mail delivery point. As an illustration, while setting up your email service, you designated PST Inbox as the location where you should receive your emails. But when you created a reminder, you stored it in some other folder instead of PST Calendar. In similar conditions, when you haven’t specified your reminders in primary folder, Outlook will fail to display at the scheduled time.

Outlook doesn’t maintain separate file for handling reminders as other applications do. So if Outlook is not running, reminders will fail to display and trigger.

For Outlook reminders to be processed by the application, it is must that you have specified a location where your emails could be delivered by default. The above error could occur if while setting up your email service, you haven’t specified the ‘Delivery’ option to any valid value but to ‘none’.

Outlook is trying to access reminders from a corrupted reminders folder. It might also occur due to some corrupt entries in the folders. If PST is your mail delivery location, such errors could result due to corruption of the file.

Solution

Below are the methods that you should apply to solve these problems. In case when the reminders or whole PST is damaged, you need to either delete the reminders or run Inbox Repair Tool if PST corruption is the issue. PST Recovery can also be achieved by using commercial applications if Inbox Repair Tool fails. You can apply these measures to correct the existing issue:

Make sure that when you create reminders, you are saving them in the primary folder.

Start Outlook if it is not running

You can delete all the existing reminders by running /cleanreminders switch. To do so, you need to exit the application and click Start->Run and type outlook /cleanreminders.

If this doesn’t help, you should try a different switch to reset all the folders as outlook /resetfolders

Try running Inbox Repair Tool to correct PST file corruption problems.

If a clean backup is available and Inbox Repair Tool doesn’t work, delete the damaged file and restore from backup

For effective and safe PST Repair, scan the file using third-party tools. Designed to run powerful repair algorithms and embedded with rich graphical features, PST Recovery software serve as advanced tools to repair and restore a damaged PST file crashed due to logical reasons.

Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair is the world’s trusted product that repairs and recover PST file. The software supports non-destructive PST Repair for Outlook 2007, 2003, 2002 and 2000. It recovers all email items and other Outlook items, such as calendar entries, journals, notes, tasks, appointments etc. This safe PST file Recovery application is compatible with Windows Vista, XP, 2003, 2000 and NT. The software is also competent to recover lost PST password and split a PST file.

Anyway, my company just moved to Google Apps Premier for their email solution, sorry MS.  I’d been using the IMAP client for quite a while, but now that we’re Premier we get access to this new too to sync your Outlook info with Google, which I then sync to my phone.

But, after importing 1GB of email I closed Outlook to come home, upon restarting Outlook, I got a gsync.dll error.

Fortunately, the solution is simple.  I copied the “C:Program Files (x86)GoogleGoogle Apps Sync” folder to “C:Program FilesGoogleGoogle Apps Sync” and added this path, ”C:Program FilesGoogleGoogle Apps Sync,” to the system environment variables.  Note that the path for the (x86) folder was in the path, apparently Google Sync just doesn’t like 64 bits.

Thanks to the Google forums for the pieces of info I needed for this.

I tried the thread below which is same my issue that I have been experiencing

http://www.experts-exchange.com/Soft…_23021639.html

From the client PC that has this issue I can ping the server (192.168.0.50) , but I can not ping the name of the server (telserver) and I cannot use name either when I try remotely to RDP to the server and I can browse the internet.

From other PCs (I tried two of the) I can ping server name and ip address of the server and I can use the server name as well when I try remotely to RDP to the server.

The funny thing when I create (testing purpose) the profile for this client on a different PC (PCs that are belong to his colleagues at work) outlook works like charm

Thanks

Conferencing Add-In for Outlook: “An error occurred while executing this command”

I experienced this error recently and spent an eternity trying to resolve it.  I finally found the solution to my problem and wanted to document it for others.

For me, the issue only appeared when I tried to invite people to a scheduled meeting.  Under normal circumstances, blank (no invitees) scheduled meetings worked fine.  Ad-hoc meetings worked fine.  Some invitees worked, but others did not.  When an invitee caused the issue to appear, this message would be displayed either when I saved/sent the meeting, or tried to set an invitee as a meeting leader.

It turned out to be caused by the format of the invitee information.  Typically, on an Exchange-based email network, your global address book contains all the people within your company.  Sometimes, emails will get sent around that results in employee names being displayed something like My Name <my.name@company.com> instead of just My Name.  These entries can get cached in a frequent recipient list that will pop down when entering addressees.

Well, it turns out this format causes the Conferencing Add-In to barf.  When entering recipients into a LiveMeeting request, entries in this format (as opposed to the usual Exchange My Name format) will cause something somewhere to fail, resulting in this message.  Keep in mind that the name will look correct in the To: field, even though “behind the scenes” it’s actually the lengthy format above.

To resolve, either select a user from the Global Address Book when entering attendees or remove the entry for the cached list by hitting Ctrl-Delete while the name is highlighted in the list.  Then enter a name, force a lookup on the user (“Check Names”), and all should be well.

Runtime blunder - as is the Runtime blunder as well as How to Fix information technology?

Runtime Error, DBA, 1/24/09 by richardgin.org

While coding in any programming language you will inevitably encounter multiple errors and warning when compiling your source code. In DarkBasic Professional these errors are comprised into four different groups or categories, Parameter mismatches or Syntax errors and Runtime warnings and errors. This article will give a brief description of each of these and tell you some helpful tips as to how to avoid and fix them.

Runtime Warnings and Errors

When receiving a runtime warning during debugging it is important to note that this warning will not show up during the use of the actual released version of the program you are working on, the command will simply fail without giving a warning. Hence, it is vital for the stability of your game or application that you correct these warnings before the final build of the game/application is distributed.

The warning itself should give sufficient information to pinpoint the origin of the code that is raising the warning, giving you the basis to correct the problem.

Runtime errors are presented when there has been an error executing the code specified in the error message. Unlike runtime warnings, runtimes errors will cause the final build to crash or close upon the raising of the error. Once again, it is very important to rectify runtime errors as your game or application will not run properly and will most likely crash itself.

Syntax Errors and Parameter Mismatches

A syntax error will be raised when the execution of a specific command or function was unsuccessfully attempted because it was not recognized or found in the built-in functions. If a syntax error is found when calling a custom made function or sub make sure it was correctly created and defined. It the error was raised while trying to execute a built-in DarkBasic Pro function make sure the function was spelled properly and you passed the proper parameters.

Note: the spelling of commands and functions is not case sensitive in DarkBasic Professional.

Parameter mismatches are received when an incorrect parameter was given to a specific command or function. Make sure your gave the correct number of parameters, in the correct order, using the correct type of parameter data. For example, a math function would not take a string, but a number or integer.

Conclusion

Using correct syntax and supplying the correct parameters should help you in avoiding most error while coding your DarkBasic Professional game or application. Always make sure to rectify all error and warnings before distributing a build to the public to maximize your application stability and potential.

doubt the program refurbish doesn't , we might have issues together with the mental recall on your computer. Fixing that kind of complaint might take contacting a maker of the memory as well as presumably even the builder of your PC.Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/operating-systems-articles/stop-c0000221-unknown-hard-error-fix-1629202.html

Getting Heath Insurance For Your Computer? What’s up with Microsoft One Care Program

I’ve had it, you’ve had it, we all know somebody who had it, a nasty virus, spyware, or hacker invading your precious computer, and then what? The aftermath of a virus attack or system crash leaves us to our doom of having to rebuild our favorites list, video/music library, and attempting to find and install all those casino games all over again.

Here’s a thought, why not buy your computer health insurance? We do it for our cars (Extended Warranty Programs), we do it for electronics (Replacement Programs); we do it for our pets (Pet Health Insurance) so why can’t we do the same for our computers.

Microsoft One Care Program has answered the call to that need. The One Care Program gives you:

Anti-Virus Protection
Anti-Spyware Protection
Firewall Software
Performance Tune-ups
Backup and Restore Software

One Care does come at a cost just like anything else but I think it is worth it and here is why. You get all of the coverage I mentioned for a flat fee of $49.99, but here is where it blows all other products of the market. You can install it on up to three computers for that price and you get live phone support. Most people I know have a desktop and a laptop, and if you purchase a virus scanning software you would need to buy the product twice. (That is, If you follow the licensing rule of one install per purchased copy)

With Microsoft One Care, you have the ease of usability, and it forces you to do the task you should be doing anyway. Like backing up your files. You change the oil in your car every 3 months as suggested, so why not take care of your computer the same way. You don’t realize the value until a nasty virus or hacker comes in and wipes out your files. Then you realize a computer crash is just as bad as you loosing your wallet.

Take it from me, even though I am not a huge fan of Microsoft, I fell they got it right on this one, I suggest this product to my clients, and I am also a One Care user myself.
